Show Notes

PT 2: Jace Meyer is a mother of one and award-winning serial entrepreneur who launched COYA Productions to prioritize experiencing joy with her daughter every day. She is currently living on the territory of the Lekwungen speaking peoples and serves on several boards as a director.

This is the second of three mini episodes of our conversation. In this interview, we talk about rethinking her relationship with time, money and the pursuit of joy, and the importance of community and connection.

THINGS WE TALK ABOUT:

  • Reintegrating joy into her daily life and rethinking her relationship with time and money
  • From a side hustle culture to learning not monetizing every hobby or pursuit
  • Learning how to fly a plane and the medicine path she is currently on
  • The impact her starting her own business has had on her relationship with her child
  • Integrating her daughter into a leadership role for COYA Productions
  • Reconnecting with her kin, her community and recreating a support network
  • Not realizing the moment you conceive is the moment you need to register for a daycare space

Thanks to Jace for taking time out of her day to speak with me about reprioritizing joy in her life and not monetizing every hobby or pursuit.

Season 4 has been sponsored by the Startup Community Empowerment Fund, presented by Startup Canada, Mastercard, UPS and BDC.
